The Jamie Kimble Foundation for Courage works with Foundation grantees and community partners to bring the most effective and innovative intimate partner violence prevention programs to the public. Our purpose is to help research, establish and monitor the success of programs offered by counselors, educators, agencies, employers, law enforcement and others. Our initiatives are multifaceted and include the following: Teaching Healthy Relationships We teach healthy relationship behaviors to youth and young adults, and we support education and awareness programs in public and private schools, colleges and universities, in faith-based settings and the workplace. Funding Research We fund partners who research and develop best practices for preventing intimate partner violence, and we provide catalyst funding for select prevention efforts. We also support research that identifies the most effective uses of prevention funding in North Carolina. Supporting New Innovative Methods We support those who are developing innovative methods for detecting, reporting and counseling abusers so that the cycle of violence can be stopped.
