Retina Australia is a not for profit organisation dedicated to helping people affected by retinal diseases, their families and their friends. Our focus is on promoting equality and support for people with inherited retinal diseases, and on raising funds for research into the detection, prevention, treatment and cure of inherited retinal dystrophies. Retina Australia distributes funds to scientific researchers in leading universities throughout Australia and New Zealand, and also offers funds to the Inherited Retinal Diseases Register and DNA Bank in Western Australia.
