The LHSV (Saint-Venant Hydraulics Laboratory) specialises in research and development in the field of fluid mechanics applied to environmental hydraulics and and its application to riverine, maritime, coasts and oceans free surface flows. The LHSV provides applied research to better understand waves, hydrodynamics, and sediment transport, and develops methods and tools ranging from regional (oceans, watersheds) to local scales (fluid-structure interactions).
