The HTSS’ mandate is to promote student engagement on campus and strengthen the 3 pillars of the Ted Rogers Students’ Society: Academic – by offering workshops and competitions to supplement students’ learning from the classroom to make for a holistic educational experience; Professional – by hosting career oriented events that aid in bridging the gap between industry leaders within the hospitality and tourism community and students who are the leaders of tomorrow; Social – by providing opportunities for students to foster relationships and experiences that lasts beyond the academic years and to build their most important network, their peer network.
