Grandma´s Cooking Barcelona is a social project that offers traditional cooking classes and workshops to Barcelona's visitors since 2016. Our classes are all about sharing ancestral knowledge of food and traditions, love, passion, fresh food and ingredients and of course fun! With the ancestral knowledge concerning the traditional cooking skills as a central element, we carry out different projects that involve our Grandmas, who are actively participating in our offerings. We now have a community of 30 grandmas and even 3 grandpas. Our market tours and cooking classes are suitable for all ages, families, couples, companies, you name it. At Grandma´s Cooking Barcelona we offer following public and private cooking classes: - Hands on cooking classes: Grandma teaches you to cook traditional and secret recipes of the local cuisine including a visit the local food markets and grocery shops. - Corporate events: Our Grandmas are in charge of the catering in Corporate Meetings or social gatherings elaborating a selection of traditional dishes. - Team building events: Equipped with aprons and cutting boards, your team will cook delicious dishes guided by our Grandmas.
