Beargrass Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a vibrant congregation located in the St Mathews area of Louisville, Kentucky. Founded in 1784 Beargrass is the oldest continuous congregation in Jefferson County. Part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Beargrass welcomes people from many different church backgrounds. The Disciples of Christ identifies itself as "a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world" and Beargrass seeks to embody that ideal. With more than 1000 active members, we are a place to find meaningful worship, vibrant ministry for youth and children, and engaging opportunities for adults to engage in fellowship, study and service, With musical groups for all ages, athletic leagues, and hands-on community ministry, there is truly something for almost everyone. We offer three weekly worship services (traditional, contemporary and chapel).
