www.icot2020.orgWe would like to welcome you to the International Conference on Thinking 2022, 30 May to 2 June. It is the first time that an ICOT is being held on the African continent and the first time that it will be a hybrid event. ICOT 2022 is for practitioners, researchers, academics and theorists to provoke, challenge, reflect, learn and discuss development around the topic of thinking and its application to solving global problems to create a better world. ICOT 2022 will follow a transdisciplinary approach with a core focus on education. The other strands are business (entrepreneurship), environment, health, sport and society. The theme of this conference is ‘Thinking to transform societies’ with the following sub-themes: Teaching for better thinking: engagement, impact and innovation Fostering an entrepreneurial mindset Promoting an ethic of care towards a sustainable future Exploring African ways of thinking Rethinking health care. Confirmed keynote speakers so far are: David Perkins, Judith Lederman, and Leslee Udwin.
