It’s estimated that tens of millions of people are currently living in some form of slavery around the world, including the United States. Slavery isn’t a thing of the past, it is a global humanitarian crisis today. Taking on many different forms, slavery is often hidden in plain sight—most commonly as forced labor and sex trafficking. Caris Consulting partners with small nonprofits and local churches to fight slavery within our communities. One mission, two core strategies: 1. Disrupt the demand: Slavery ends when there is no demand for human exploitation. Caris Consulting boldly confronts the factors that fuel this demand. Working in partnership with local churches, we help disrupt the demand for human exploitation in our hearts, homes and communities. 2. Help the helpers: There are many small organizations and ministries working to eradicate slavery, rescue its victims and restore its survivors. Caris Consulting serves these organizations through strategic communications consulting to help amplify their efforts in the fight.
