Singapore South Asian International Film Festival (Sg.Saiff) is an annual event devoted to a greater appreciation of South Asian cinema and culture. The festival seeks to support emerging filmmakers, open a fertile space for dialogue and collaborations within the industry. Sg.Saiff organizes and promotes performing arts by conducting acting workshops, filmmaking masterclass and screenings of critically acclaimed movies by awarding them at the gala closing night, an event that is graced by celebrities from different parts of South Asia. This year, the festival will be held from 30 August 07th Sept. 2019 at various venues across Singapore.
