Scooter McGruder Platinum Charities is a nonprofit organization dedicated to motivating at-risk youth and empowering families in underserved communities. Since 1996, former NFL Player, Mike "Scooter" McGruder, has championed programs committed to creating life changing opportunities that lift children and families out of poverty. Inspired by his personal understanding of the inner city challenges facing today’s youth, Platinum Charities provides positive change to underserved communities through scholarship initiatives, youth based programs, and home ownership opportunities for disadvantaged families in Ohio, Georgia, and Texas.
