PLOEG & BROWN P.C.
www.ploegandbrown.com"We do the impossible for our clients". My wife and I recently went to dinner with a couple that we had just made friends with. At dinner, over small talk, the husband asked about my legal career, legal education, etc. I told him that I am the only practicing attorney in the State of Georgia that went to an online law school. He was amazed about this and I was surprised that he knew so much about the Georgia State Bar admission requirements. He said "that's impossible! The Georgia State Bar does not allow anyone to sit for the bar exam that does not have a JD from an ABA approved law school." Well, I told him that he is correct but I did the impossible. Then he said to me you know I would hire you because I would want an attorney who can do the impossible. I thought about that for a long while and realized that he was right. The best attorneys are those that refuse to concede to what is perceived to be "impossible". They refuse to accept it. I was told years ago, by the Georgia State Bar, and many persons in the legal profession, that I would "never" be a licensed attorney in the State of Georgia because I graduated from a non ABA law school. Hearing that only motivated me to do the impossible. My new friend is right. We as attorney's must always do the impossible for our clients. So I believe in applying the same determination I had to be a Georgia attorney, to each and every one of my client's legal challenges. So, you might be asking yourself, "how was he able to sit for the Georgia bar exam without graduating from an ABA approved law school." Well, e-mail me sometime and I will tell you all about it.
