The Mouth Cancer Foundation is the UK's mouth cancer charity. Mouth cancer refers to cancer occutring in any part of the oral cavity, tongue, lips, throat, salivary glnads, pharynx, larynx, sinus and sites in the head and neck surrounding the mouth. The Mouth Cancer Foundation was established in 2004 to support those who suffer from mouth, throat, and other head & neck cancers. It is focused on reducing suffering and saving lives through prevention, education, support, patient advocacy and research related to survivorship issues. At the Mouth Cancer Foundation, we know that support can be a vital component of the healing process for head and neck patients. Therefore, we make sure that our website provides valuable information for cancer patients and their carers who are trying to get a better understanding of the disease. We also run an online support group which allows peopel to communicate with each other and share their experiences.
