WES EDENS | FOUNDER Fragile Earth is the brainchild of Wes Edens, the co-founder and co-CEO of Fortress Investment Group, founded in 1998 with $400 million in assets under management, and which he has grown to be $41 billion of assets as of 2018. Under his leadership, Fortress has built and owned businesses across transportation, power, infrastructure, real estate, healthcare, media and entertainment. He has a proven track record of building and operating solutions to some of the biggest challenges of our day. With Fragile Earth, Edens is laser-focused on creating a solution to arguably the greatest challenge of our lifetime: reversing climate change.
