Kentucky Ballet Theatre provides Lexington and Central Kentucky with a professional ballet company in residence, performing original as well as classical works at their Lexington base and surrounding communities with tours, outreach and school shows. We equip students at our academy with classical dance instruction in a nurturing environment and offer them the opportunity to perform with the professional company. Kentucky Ballet Theatre’s artistic objective is to be true to the art form of ballet while performing both traditional and neoclassical ballets, in addition to producing new works that are accessible, entertaining and creative.
