Lokarpan was established by H.V. Singh in 1996 to commemorate a vision to enable poor, rural communities to improve their social and economic conditions through participatory projects in health, education, income generation through training and convergence, and veterinary care. For 22 years, we have worked closely with communities to identify their needs and aspirations in order to serve them. Lokarpan programs are recommended by the State Planning Commission for playing a significant role in strengthening and improving intervention through programs for Vaccination, Health practitioner Trainings, Adult sex education, and Anti Natal coverage. We served as the implementing partner for PL 480 Title II Food for Peace program in India; and work with HDFC bank on microfinance options for women. We serve as long term program partners with the Catholic Relief Services (CRS), PACS, USAID, NABARD and SIPFCA. Today, Lokarpan is working on the next generation of fully immersive and cross compatible technologies that will be the most effective education tools ever built, capable of improving learning outcomes in students and tracking student and teacher performance.
