CORE BELIEFS We believe that each patient who receives a vascular access device has the right to: -be a part of the decision-making process of their care -receive the appropriate device based upon the indicated therapy -be safe from harm related to the insertion, use, and removal of the device in any healthcare setting -have the provision of vascular access care managed by vascular access specialists utilizing evidence-based practice and advanced technology applications be assessed for outcomes to advance the science of vascular access patient safety WHO WE SERVE We serve vascular access patients through patient safety initiatives, research, and education. We are a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) educational and research organization.
