Hargraves Online Healthcare was founded by Jason Kraus in 2013, a young man with a Big Dream of starting his own business. At the age of 15, Jason started selling fishing lures and miscellaneous items online. When he turned 16 Jason applied for a Pharmacy Technician position at Rite Aid, and continued working there for the next 7 years while having his online business on the side selling vintage fishing lures and other items that he could turn around quickly and sell for a profit! All this took place from his bedroom, then moved to his parents basement. Working at least 100 hours a week between the two jobs and attending college for his Business Management Degree, he decided that instead of going to Pharmacy school for the next 4-6 years and having student loans for the rest of his life, he wanted to follow his dream and own his own business. Being a Pharmacy Technician, Jason saw the struggles consumers were having with the high cost of medications, he knew he wanted to make a difference and be able to offer consumers affordable Over the Counter Medications (OTC). A year later in 2014 he moved his business to Hargraves Pharmacy in Fulton, NY and hired 3 employees, he quickly out grew that location as well and rented a 1500 sq ft store front next door to Hargraves Pharmacy where he then hired 3 more people. 2 years later in 2018 he purchased his own 5,000 sq ft building not to far from the Pharmacy and then hired 8 additional employees. As a business owner Jason wanted his employees to have the best working environment possible with a little fun here and there! The business is thriving and Jason has an amazing team of employees! After 3 years, he is now out growing his current building. Who knows what amazing things the future has in store for this young business owner!
