Our Philosophy of Care The human body is a wonderfully complex set of interacting systems. Every part of the body is affected by every other part of the body. With good health, these systems are in balance and support each other. When health problems occur, one or more systems are out of balance. The longer a health problem exists, and the more complex it becomes, the more systems are involved. In order to regain good health, the body must be viewed as a whole. A process of discovery needs to happen wherein the practitioner evaluates underlying body systems that are contributing to the patient’s main complaint. Then a treatment plan will be developed that addresses both underlying contributing symptoms, as well as the presenting complaint, that caused the patient to seek help.
