The University Eastside Community Collaborative (UECC) is a partnership among the City of Riverside, Riverside Unified School District, and UC Riverside. Each year, UECC recruits 85 college students to become year-long AmeriCorps members who mentor and tutor youth at local schools and community centers throughout Riverside's Eastside to increase academic achievement in Math and English Language Arts. These college students serve in 7 schools and 3 community centers, grades K-6, as positive role models. UECC offers tutoring to students who need it the most in the City of Riverside and an opportunity for college students to serve their community.
