Mission Shukuru's mission is to provide orphaned and vulnerable girls in developing countries access to education and economic opportunity. Their savings is matched by donors and one year in the program, a girl earns enough money to pay for four years of secondary school. General Information Shukuru's pilot is based in Tanzania, East Africa with plans to expand to other developing countries where girls are disproportionately blocked from continuing their education.
