The Culinary Center of Kansas City is a unique venue in the Midwest dedicated to the education, cultivation, and appreciation of food and culinary tradition through cooking classes and private events. "Culinarians” of all skill levels are invited to join us in celebrating the culinary arts. Located in Historic Downtown Overland Park, The Culinary Center of Kansas City is situated in a uniquely walkable community, in a beautifully restored 6,500 square foot turn-of-the-century buggy barn. We boast two inviting and comfortable teaching kitchens and an event/meeting space. The Culinary Center has been described as transportive and as "Napa Valley, Tuscany, South of France, Colorado and home, all rolled into one." CULINARY ARTS CLASSES More than 600 contemporary classes in the culinary arts are taught each year, covering a wide range of topics and taught by qualified, experienced instructors. Our goal is to de-mystify the art of cooking and provide a comfortable and non-threatening environment for our students. COOKING PARTIES For 20 years, we have offered an unbeatable recipe for interactive cooking events for groups at our facility (and offsite) using the culinary arts as our palate!
