Christopher G. Hill is a LEED AP, Virginia Supreme Court certified General District Court mediator, and construction attorney in Richmond, Virginia. He is also a current member of the Board of Governors of the Virginia State Bar Construction Law and Public Contracts Section and the Section Council for the Construction and Public Contracts Law Section of the Virginia Bar Association. He uses this insight to give his clients both practical and legally sound advice during their interactions with both private companies and state agencies. His years of concentration on the construction industry enable him to assist his construction clients to anticipate potential challenges and help them to prepare for and ultimately overcome those business challenges in an efficient and practical manner. Specific areas of practice include mechanic’s liens, payment and performance bond claims under the Miller Act and Virginia’s “Little Miller Act,” sustainable (“green”) building, occupational safety issues, construction contract review, service as outside “in house counsel,” arbitration, and mediation.
