The original recipe is available here, still made exclusively with jumbo lump, domestic blue crab. Times have changed, but Angelina's crab cake has not. We continue to be a small, local company that stands behind a big promise - the best quality your money can buy. Angelina's of Maryland was formed in 2005 for the purpose of carrying on a tradition. Under the guidance of several generations of previous owners, and with the future of Baltimore's famous restaurant uncertain, we worked hard to learn and preserve the recipe, techniques and ingredients that made Angelina's crab cake a Maryland institution for decades. We are proud to offer a line of prodcuts that are virtually unchanged and unmatched in the marketplace Our stubborn insistence on using only domestic blue crab makes our product one of the last representatives of a true Maryland crab cake. Our customers know, and appreciate the difference!
