WICHITA TRIBAL ENTERPRISES, LLC (WTE) We are a Native American, Tribally-owned, Small Business Administration (SBA), small disadvantaged business (SDB). The Wichita and Affiliated Tribes are developing WTE as the cornerstone of an economic development plan. This plan will provide college educations for tribal members and rebuild the economic foundations of the communities. The strategy for the success of WTE is one of building long-term partnerships with the best companies and providing solid delivery capabilities. OUR VISION WTE's business model is based on partnering with companies to provide strong relationships that will pursue government opportunities where the team capabilities create a winning solution. 8(a) Opportunities - WTE takes advantage of a Native American 8(a) status to pursue government opportunities that are set aside for Native American and/or 8(a) companies. WTE couples this advantage with utilizing partners who have the required expertise of the opportunity AND the understanding of the specific customer. HISTORY WTE was incorporated in July 2008 as a limited liability corporation. The Wichita and Affiliated Tribes researched federal contracting opportunities and determined that being a provider of office administration services to the Government represented a strong opportunity for the tribe to achieve further success in the government contracting space while performing a vital service to the nation.
