Founder's note... My name is Happy (yes, mom's a hippie), and I retired from Google in 2018 to move to NC and care for my parents in their "golden years" (btw, utterly b-e-a-utiful country). I spent the next 2 years having fun in various roles with the Harley-Davidson Motor Company to keep myself busy, and the novel coronavirus brought that to a screeching halt in May, 2020. As I watched this pandemic unfold across my country, and in my local community, my empathy for my fellow neighbors, colleagues, friends, and my own family members, was overwhelming me. I had to do something to help. I've been a "serial entrepreneur" for the past 35+ years, so surely I could come up with some way to make a difference? After 3 months of hard-core research and development, I launched a "concept company" of my own design (Atmosphere SKY™ Healthcare), providing the only air purifiers in the market that will actually create hospital quality "clean room" environments against airborne threats (guaranteed in writing). I'm not in it for the money, I'm in it for the mission. This isn't commercial, it's personal, and I aim to make a difference. Let truth will out. I will be "soft launching" this product in the fitness & health industry first, and I'll tell you why (this is going to sound v-e-r-y Cali). I believe the greatest impact I can make on the "collective consciousness" of my local community is through exercise (not a sales pitch). The endorphins and serotonin influx of exercise is more powerful than most realize, and this pandemic is not just keeping people out of the gyms, but stopping new members from joining, while current members are canceling their memberships all together. It's affecting people's emotions, their attitudes, and their overall happiness (not to mention putting our gym owners out of business). I aim to put one of these units in every gym in NC, and one-by-one, make a difference. Though one might not be enough, one is better than none. I'll keep you updated...
