PARALELO ZERO Arquitectura
www.paralelozero.ptPARALELO ZERO (zero parallel) is the term used for the imaginary line which divides the North Pole from the South Pole, also called equator line. It’s also the name of our Architecture firm, founded in 2013, whose practice is centred around projects and research on the Portuguese colonial heritage in São Tomé and Príncipe, along the equator line. Our team have published several books and texts on the subject, including As Roças de São Tomé e Príncipe (2013) and BIJAGÓS: Património Arquitectónico (2016), both published by Tinta-da-china. Throughout the years, we have developed projects of various scales and programmes, from restoration to rehabilitation, buildings constructed from scratch or offices, including some of the most renowned Portuguese tech companies.
