At the Indiana University Health Foundation, we support the life-saving and life-changing care provided by all 16 IU Health hospitals across the state of Indiana. Donations from grateful patients, IU Health employees, friends and community members make our work possible, and we constantly strive to be responsible stewards of this generosity. The programs we support are each defined by our primary areas of focus: People, Progress and Partnerships. Each of these areas work together to further our vision of making Indiana one of the healthiest states in the nation. People: Through employee training, continuing education opportunities, scholarships, and the support of fellowship and chair positions, we support IU Health in obtaining and retaining the best people and best talent, so they can continue to provide the best care. Progress: We are actively committed to remaining on the forefront of medical research and making meaningful discoveries that lead to treatments or cures for diseases from cancer to mental illness. We are dedicated to supporting innovative new breakthroughs, such as genomic sequencing, that allow us to offer individualized care to patients. Partnerships: By forming alliances with community leaders, businesses and other organizations, we will tackle some of the toughest issues facing Hoosiers today, including the opioid epidemic, behavioral health, obesity and infant mortality. We will continue, as always, to support programs and initiatives that have a direct impact on our patients and their loved ones. In doing so, we will provide reliable, excellent and accessible healthcare to Hoosiers, as we strive to make Indiana a healthier state.
