AWIPH is a public administration of the walloon region in Belgium (french speaking area). AWIPH stands for Agence Wallonne pour l'Intégration des Personnes Handicapées, thus the Walloon Agency for the Integration of Handicapped People. It approves and subsidizes services that receive, shelter, employ, train, advice and accompany handicapped people. It also provides assistance with employment and training and financial support for the acquisition of equipment or specific items designed to facilitate independant living.
