Belle Sherman Elementary is located on the East Hill of Ithaca, nestled in the rolling hills by Cayuga Lake. Belle Sherman exhibits a diverse and inclusive campus of 363 students. Belle Sherman's proximity to two world-class institutions provides an international student body, as well as numerous successful collaborations at both Cornell and Ithaca College. Belle Sherman's instructional strengths consist of multidisciplinary units of study, a blended instructional model that includes game based learning, reading/writers workshop approach to ELA, and lessons that incorporate culture competency/diversity.
