Using the finest cashmere from Inner Mongolia, our yarns are spun before being dyed and knitted by a family-run business in Scotland known for their excellence and years of knitwear expertise. Our exacting standards begin with the raw materials we use, which is why we insist on working with a supplier who has an OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certificate from the International Association of Textile Ecological Research and Testing. Strictly selected to ensure that Alabaste yarns are the very best, they are also ethically procured. So called “cheap cashmere”, that has been mass-produced, has harmful effects on the environment and is responsible for over-grazing of land.
