The mission of JSG is to provide Concordia University's John Molson School of Business (JMSB) students with the resources to effectively and professionally incorporate sustainability in their pursuit of becoming ecologically aware, socially just, and economically responsible business leaders. In the eight years prior to the 2015-16 academic year, the organization was run as the joint graduate and undergraduate association, JSG. Unfortunately it became necessary for the JSG to break off into separate graduate (John Molson's Sustainable Business Group - JMSBG) and undergraduate (the John Molson Sustainable Enterprise Committee - JSEC) organizations, though the two teams continue to collaborate on joint initiatives and events. The JSG remains as an umbrella organization to both groups, and is managed by members of the Advisory Board. The Advisory Board continues to support both JSEC and JMSBG in the promotion of sustainability in business at JMSB.
