Genashtim was founded in 2008 with the purpose of providing sustainable, meaningful, and gainful employment for the disadvantaged, especially for those from the less-developed economies. In creating a workplace that is inclusive and accessible, especially for those with disabilities, we had to develop a 100% work-from-home model. This also led us to build a totally digitalized operation, focussing on eLearning. In 2015, Genashtim was the second company to be certified as a B Corp in Southeast Asia. Since then, Genashtim has been consistently regarded as “Best for the World” amongst B Corp members every year. Our organisation in Malaysia, Genashtim Sdn Bhd was also hailed as “Best for the World 2021”, making us probably the first business anywhere with two independently B Corp certified Best-for-the-World companies. Genashtim Pte Ltd is now part of Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub.
