The Danish Egyptian Dialogue Initiative (DEDI) is aiming to enhance mutual understanding of culture and society between Egyptians and Danes through dialogue and partnerships. Since 2004, DEDI is bringing Danes and Egyptians together, enhancing their knowledge of each other’s culture and society and their mutual understanding. Partnerships are facilitated and carried out within the fields of culture, media and civic participation. DEDI supports projects of young Egyptian and Danish artists, filmmakers, musicians and performers as well as journalist, photographers and youth committed to meet the local and global challenges facing their communities. DEDI is happy to receive proposals and to explore new partnerships.
