To manage the business from Spain and USA, the group founded SK PRIMACOR EUROPE S.L.U.and SK PRIMACOR AMERICAS, LLC, which began their operations on September 1, 2017. SK Global Chemical Co., Ltd., Group manufactures and sells chemical products in South Korea and internationally. The group offers olefins, including ethylene, propylene, butadiene, methyl tert-butyl ether, and butylene; and aromatics, such as benzene, toluene, mixed xylene, para xylene, and styrene monomer that serve as raw materials for commodities, construction, appliance, and textiles. The company was founded in 1962 and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. In 1972, SK global chemical built a naphtha cracking facility capable of 100,000 tons a year the first of its size in Korea, laying the groundwork for the nation's development in the petrochemical industry. Since then, SK global chemical has been supplying a wide range of raw and supplementary materials that the customers and markets need. Through continuous facility investment, R&D and global business expansion, SK Global Chemical is maintaining its position as the nation's leader in the petrochemical industry.
