"Polytechnic" is the leading innovative enterprise under the ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. It acts as a state-level university knowledge hub in scientific research and innovativeproduction (manufacture of high-tech products including those based on the R&D conducted at the Technopark) for Belarusiantechnology leaders, as well as a center for informational and marketing support and business incubation. Nowadays «Polytechnic» conducts its activity in the innovative sphere on numerous directions such as R&D and manufacture of innovative production, including those based on its own research. In general, the Technopark seeks to create favourable conditions for businesses to build up capacity in the research and technology domains and keep its innovative processes efficient within the “search for novelty – manufacture an innovative product – sell” scheme. All the conducted services complement one another: research and development prepares the foundation for new innovative enterprises and industries to be established, the revenue gained as a yield of high-tech production allows investing into Technopark’s further development as a part of innovative infrastructure. The Technopark offers informative, consulting, engineering and other innovative services at its own cost and expense and thus facilitates innovative development of enterprises. Sustainable position of the Technopark at the market empowers it to invest into the informational and marketing infrastructure. Since 1993 the Technopark has founded a number of enterprises, which became a start-up of Technopark’s business-incubation companies. The Technopark is currently a founding shareholder of 7 innovative enterprises, and cofounder of 2 private limited liability companies. At the present time the enterprise consist of centers of technology transfer, informational and marketing centers, scientific and production subsidiary enterprises.
