The face behind Nota Bene Design inc. is Jean-Claude Poitras, a multidisciplinary artist. Jean-Claude Poitras has been creating remarkable work since 1972. A leader in Canadian fashion, a true ambassador recognized worldwide, he has presented his collections on the greatest international catwalks, earning him national and international recognition, from the Moda del Amo awards in California to the Golden Thread of Monte Carlo, from the ARC Award in Toronto to the Griffe d'Or in Montreal. He has also been awarded the Ordre national du Québec and the Order of Canada. Throughout his career, his talents as a communicator have led him to be very present in the media, notably as a speaker and columnist. His passion for all facets of design has led him, since 2002, to put his stamp on tableware and the world of decoration, not to mention the art of stained glass, which he reinvents. It is in 2012, to underline his forty years of creation, that he reveals his soul as an artist.
