Established in 1918, the French Chamber of Commerce (CCIFJ) is working on two main objectives: Support French companies who want to develop their business in Japan and animate the business network of member companies. With more than 500 members, this is the first European Chamber of Commerce of Japan. The French Chamber is part of the French Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry Overseas (CCI France International), consisting of 120 chambers in 90 countries – of which around 20 are in Asia – representing the most important private network of French companies in the world. The CCIFJ provides many services. By organizing more than 100 events a year, it gives to its members the opportunity to build contacts and to exchange on various topics thanks to its committee or networking events. The CCIFJ also offer training seminars and assistance on recruitment for companies who may have HR needs. Its publications (Newsletters, France Japon Eco…) are unavoidable communication support toward the French community in Japan. Finally, the business support department assists every year many French companies having the desire to tap the Japanese market by providing suitable service.
