www.caavignone.itWe are a couple of entrepreneurs in love with wine, land, nature and traditions. Ca Avignone was born in 2016 from this love and from a passion that had been left in the corner of our desires for too long, so we decided to leave the city of Padua and head south to begin a new journey in the Euganean Hills, surrounded by grapevines, olive and almond trees. The verdant valleys immediately won us over with their mild climate, the Mediterranean scrub and the unique volcanic soil with its rocks, marl and limestone soils that give the grapes a unique imprint. OUR MISSION We aim at making wine that expresses faithfully the local terroir while pursuing at the same time an environmentally friendly production cycle. Our company philosophy is based on three principles: passion, creativity and sustainability. Since the start of our business, we have been working with Pisa University spin-off body INDACO2 to assess and reduce our CO2 emissions at every stage of the production cycle, from the vineyard to bottling, in order to minimise them as much as possible. In pursuing this goal, we adopt a number of best practices, such as using light glass bottles and organic corks, selecting resistant vine shoots, avoiding chemical herbicides and generating energy through solar panels. Last but not least, our products are organic.
