Other major retail centers in Fairview Heights include the Crossroads Centre, Fairview City Centre, Fairview Heights Plaza, Lincoln Place Shopping Center, and the Marketplace Shopping Center. Long recognized as a retail center, Fairview Heights is beginning to emerge as one of the great places to live in St. Louis' Metro East region. Construction of a new $19 million recreation center, complementing earlier projects such as the Miracle League baseball field at Moody Park, will add to the community's attractiveness as a place to play.
