www.rotoruaducktours.co.nzYou haven’t seen Rotorua until you’ve seen it from a Duck! Jump on one of New Zealand’s only World War two landing crafts for an experience like no other. On top of being unique this tour is a great way to get an introduction to Rotorua or even further your knowledge. We have had locals leave our tours having picked up many new things they would have never known! Your fully trained ‘Conducktor’ will take you to see historic sites, picturesque lake and mountain scenery, geothermal wonders and you’ll see the natural beauty that our area has. They’ll tell you genuine Maori stories of old, the history of our beautiful area, facts about the flora and fauna and so much more all while quacking away on the duck quackers at passers-by. You’ll ride, laugh, quack and splash your way to an unforgettable experience! Our tours are suitable for all ages and fun for the whole family. Check out our reviews on TripAdvisor and Facebook because the words of others are stronger than anything we could say. There are also clear roll down sides all year and blankets in winter so it’s a great all year round activity. We can also cater tours for big groups making it great for special interest and corporate groups. We have two tour options available; our Rotorua City and Lakes Tour (90-105mins) takes you through the beautiful government gardens along the shores of our great lake ‘Rotorua’ before heading out to splashdown onto Lake Tikitapu (Blue Lake) and Lake Okareka, a great introduction to Rotorua and the Lakes District. We also have the Tarawera and Lakes Tour (120-135mins) which visits our great lake ‘Rotorua’ before splashing down onto Lake Okareka, Lake Tikitapu and then proceeding onto Lake Tarawera right at the base of the Tarawera Volcano where you’ll learn about the devastating Tarawera eruption of 1886 that shaped our area as we see it today.
