RATEM - Professional Union of Broadcasting Organizations was founded in 2001. It is the largest professional semi-public, non-profit organization in the broadcasting industry, which represents around 800 radio and television organizations including the public broadcaster TRT. It aims to protect intellectual property rights of its members, as well as finding solutions to the problems of the industry and developing activities in order to ensure continuous development.
