Mission Statement: 1. To provide leadership in identifying and responding to issues,changes, and trends affecting career services and college relations. 2. To serve as a resource for professional training and development of members and facilitate the exchange of ideas and information. 3. To develop, promote, and advocate professional and ethical standards and proce­dures in career services and college relations. About MPACE: MPACE was formed in the 2005 merger of the Western Association of Colleges & Employers and the Rocky Mountain Association of Colleges & Employers. Those two organizations have each been serving the career services and college relations community for over 50 years with members at universities and colleges throughout the western states as well as the employers who recruit on those campuses for college graduates. Our membership is currently 550 members: 2/3rds are college members and 1/3 are employer members. MPACE is a 501(c) 6 federally designated non-profit corporation. Members of MPACE pay annual dues of $150. The membership year is July 1 - June 30 of any given year. Our Regions: The geographic membership area of MPACE is divided into 5 regions facilitating networking opportunities for professionals involved with talent acquisition on western college campuses. Pacific South (Southern California, Hawaii, Guam), Pacific Central (Central and Northern California), Pacific North (Oregon, Washington, Alaska), Mountain North (Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, Utah), & Mountain South (Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico). Approximately 10% of our membership comes from outside our geographic area. A Regional Rep from each region sits on the MPACE Board of Directors and hosts workshops, open houses, roundtable discussions and other events during the year. Members are notified of these professional development events through direct email and through our website's calendar of events.
