Unite For Literacy is a for profit-for social good publisher and content marketing platform whose business model provides FREE unlimited access to its digital picture book library which houses more than 130 books in up to 29 languages. Through partnerships with businesses, we eradicate the global book scarcity epidemic and create lifelong learners who gain a love of reading at an early age. Problem: Reading success begins at home, but most homes are void of relevant picture books. The National Assessment of Educational Progress asked 4th graders how many books they have in their homes, and how often they read for fun. The resulting graph shows their responses in relation to reading proficiency scores, and underlines the importance of having more than 100 books in the home, along with a habit of reading.
