It collects tons of fruits and vegetables from wholesalers returned by retailers for disposal due to minor quality issues or not meeting rigid industry standards. Food Chat offers saved goods to a growing community and delivers on a weekly basis to dedicated locations for pick up. To date, Food Chat sells around 4 - 6 tons of goods every week to a growing community and delivers to 7 locations in the eastern part of Switzerland. After having proved the business model Food Chat is about to professionalize its operations and has a strong appetite for national growth.
