International Bomber Command Centre

www.internationalbcc.co.uk

The International Bomber Command Centre (IBCC) is a world-class facility to serve as a point for recognition, remembrance and reconciliation for Bomber Command. Providing the most comprehensive record of the Command in the world, the IBCC ensures that generations to come can learn of their vital role in protecting the freedom we enjoy today. It started as the dream of the late Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire in 2009, Tony Worth CVO, who wanted to commemorate not only the bravery and sacrifice of those who served and supported Bomber Command, but also to officially recognise the significant contribution of Lincolnshire to the outcome of WWII. The centre that stands before us today was opened on the 12th April 2018 and now comprises of the Peace Gardens, The Chadwick Centre, The Spire, The Walls of Names, The Ribbon of Remembrance. As well as hosting a vast array of events throughout the year and housing permanent and temporary exhibitions the centre is available to hire for corporate hospitality and events. With a wide range of flexible options we offer one of the most inspiring event spaces in the United Kingdom combining first class facilities with the opportunity to support a lasting tribute to those who gave their lives as part of Bomber Command. The food we serve at the Centre has been carefully selected to reflect both the quality of your experience at the Centre, as well as the wide variety of products created by some truly amazing local producers. Located in the heart of Lincolnshire, a county famous for its food production, our on site Hub Café takes full advantage of this and can cater for all occasions from formal dinners and breakfast meetings to finger buffets and afternoon teas.
