Marmota Maps is a project by Lana Bragina and Stefan Spiegel in Hamburg. Both share a passion for geography, design and graphical presentation of data and information and the Alps. In March 2015 they started designing the first transnational map of the Alps for all ski resorts. After a successful crowdfunding campaign on kickstarter.com in November 2015, they founded their own company to create more unique maps and realize a number of other ideas concerning the Alps and beyond.
