The Ministerial Advisory Council on Disability provides independent advice to the Western Australian Minister for Disability Services. Membership consists of not more than 14 people who either have lived experience of a disability or are a family member or carer of a person with a disability and are appointed by the Minister. All perspectives of disability are represented within the membership. Council works both proactively and reactively on issues that either have become or may become barriers to people with disabilities, their families and carers living a life worth living.
