A non-profit social service agency located in Joliet and servicing Will County. In 1962, the Older American Act was signed into law while Lyndon Johnson was the President of the United States. About that time, a committee of concerned individuals in Joliet began to explore how they might best help seniors living in Will County. By 1966, the group incorporated and the first Senior Services Center outside of Springfield in Illinois was born. Since its beginning, Senior Services has kept its mission to assist seniors to live safe, healthy and independent lives through its programs and services.
