We are a family-owned company that grew out of an 1867 partnership between two families in the North of France, the Coisnes and the Lamberts. Chaired by Marie-Christine Coisne-Roquette, it currently brings together nearly 600 family members — descendants and spouses included. We conduct our business to serve the continuity of our family Group with a growing number of descendants. As the lead holding company of the Group, Colam Entreprendre defines the long-term vision and sets the major strategic guidelines to steer its businesses’ profitable and sustainable growth. It is committed to two main objectives; to develop the family’s collective assets and to keep the strong family cohesion alive. By far the most important of our assets is Sonepar, the global market leader in B-to-B distribution of electrical products, solutions and related services. We are Sonepar’s founding shareholder.
