We are a dance school based in Tamworth, Staffordshire who pride ourselves on our extensive work within the local community and encourage our children through disciplined training to become versatile dancers of the future. NRGDC offers amazing knowledge of dance and training in disciplines such as: Streetdance, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Waacking, House, Lite Feet, Breaking, Locking, Popping, Vogue, Krump, Dancehall and many more. We offer examinations in Streetdance through UDO and examinations in dance through AAD. NRGDC welcome children from all backgrounds and with disabilities to learn in a nurturing environment. We work with children who suffer with Autism & ADHD, have poor social skills, and children who lack confidence and stability to name just a few. These children suffer with everyday normalities, but by joining a group of mixed children this can encourage and support a wealth of growth. We encourage children off the street to engage in Dance; which has changed so many individuals from a destructive path and offer respite and support for children, whom without this provision would lack the guidance and direction needed in a modern-day society. We have raised money for: Cancer Research, St Giles Hospice, Acorns Children’s Charity, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Charlie Round, Tamworth Carnival, Local School Summer Fetes, Children in Need and Comic Relief through performances and fundraising events over the years. NRGDC is a family and with being a family we all support each other whether it be with difficulties in dance or school, to a reassuring peer to talk through any problems. All teachers and helpers at NRGDC are fully DBS checked and have First Aider qualifications.
